Hi there - I'm Jenny Zhu

I'm currently investing in pre-seed to series A companies at Propel Venture Partners out of SF. I'm particularly fascinated by commerce, payments, market infrastructure, AI, security / trust and the intersections of all the above. I'm based in Duboce Triangle in SF.

Previously, I spent 5 years in NYC, where I worked in investment banking at Perella Weinberg Partners and Broadhaven, advising companies like PayPal and Ripple across M&A and strategic transactions (the full list is on my CV). I also lived in lovely Greenpoint, the best neighborhood in the NYC metropolitan area (and perhaps the entire US!).

I grew up in Plano, Texas and attended Columbia University in the City of New York, where I studied Financial Economics & History, got involved in hyper-local student journalism, and graduated cum laude in 2021.
